Publish your property page for free in 5 minutes
The file created by the generator is a complete page. To give it a web address you can share and turn into a QR code, just drop it on a free host.
Instant, nothing to publish
Send the .html file by WhatsApp or e-mail: the guest opens it on their phone without installing anything. The generator also creates a print-ready WhatsApp QR code that works right away, with no web address.
For a free web address: 3 steps
A free static-page host (for example Netlify Drop, GitHub Pages or Cloudflare Pages) puts your file online. These services’ terms, limits and interface may change: read their terms before publishing. The principle of the steps below stays the same.
1 Drop the file on the upload page
Open a free host’s drag-and-drop upload page (create an account if it asks) and drop the .html file in as it is.
2 Copy the address
After a few seconds, the host shows your page’s address (https://…). Copy it and test it on your phone.
3 Get your QR codes
Paste the address into “Public address of the page” in the generator and generate again: the page QR codes are ready to print.
Good to know
- If the host asks for it, first rename the file to index.html (or put it in a folder).
- Never include access codes or sensitive personal information: an online page can be read by anyone who has the link.
- To change your page, generate it again and replace the file: with most hosts, the address can stay the same.
- Print the QR code large enough (at least 3 cm per side) and test it with your phone before displaying it.
- You remain responsible for the published content and the host you choose. This guide is indicative only.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a website or a domain name?
No. A free address provided by the host is enough to start. A custom domain name is optional and usually paid.
How much does it cost?
Many hosts offer a free plan for a simple page, with limits. Check their current terms before you start.
Does my data stay private?
The generator works in your browser: nothing is sent to Hostsheetly. Once the page is published, its content is public: only include what you are happy to show.
